Summery

Time : 1930~1945

This is Zhenbao’s story. 

When he studied in UK. He had his  first love named rose, because of her , he called all the women in his life rose. He was well known as a man of honour, as he refuse rose’s desire of sex.

After his study, he backed to Shanghai and worked in an international company. He rent a houses from his friend. In that houses, he met the red rose (JIAORUI)who is the wife of his friend. She is a charming and appealing lady. Zhengbao cannot control thinking about her. His friend went to Singapore to do business. He finally fell in love with the red rose. 

Red roses treat her love sincerely as moth love the light of fire, she decided to tell the true to her husband. This made Zhenbao worry about his future, career. He care about his reputation than his love.  So they break up finally.

When he was 30 years old. His mother found him a young student wife. She was as pure as the blank paper, naive，beautiful. She was less interested in lots of things. Zhenbao feels bored and his miss red roses. He started to find  prostitute. 

At the end, he met red rose in the bus, she married another person. It make Zhenbao think of himself critically and he decide to become a good man again.

The favourite 

I watch the favourite today. They story made me excited which is about love, power, - between three women in the 18th . At first, I think the queen is not like queen at all. She is childish and very emotional person. For the Sarah,  she is strict and scary for me, she seen to be the most powerful person in the country ( expect queen).  The main character       女仆-, I think she is very kind and nice person to me. But later, She obviously is very ambition person . For me, this movie show her altitude toward moral standard an dalso explore the relationship between lovers. It is very weak. 

What I like about this movie is that character change their altitude and their  position. The costume is beautiful. I really like the 党派之间不同的衣服，and the dress from maid to lady. The costume shows the clear power position in the movie. So they help people to understand the story . I think the costume in this movie are very based on the history.

She is the costume designer that designed lots of my favourite movie such as interview with the vampire and she is also the designer for The favourite (film). I can directly understand the personality from her costume and I can feel there are some connection between the costume of lover with clear position.

 Today I went to the globe theatre to join the guild tour and see the play " The Merry Wives of Windsor" for a whole day.  The guided tour is a stuff introducing the history of globe theatre's history and how theatre work during the show.  The globe  theatre I visited is the third theatre, but it was build to the original one. The theatre is outdoor. Which means that Actors and audiences can see each others  when they are performing.  Another different between the show I had seen before, the actors are both coming through the audience and walk to the stage and from the back of the sense. It is very interactive and very inspired people's imagination. I feel like we are also part of the show.

" I have never been on the relationship yet, But I like a boy before. I can never have love relationship of him, because he is my brother's closest friend.

" I had a girlfriend before I study aboard. We separate because we live in the different places and I have new goal, so we break up. It was tragic because I paid  my real heart."

“ when I was 19-year-old, I engaged with a girl privately . She is Japanese and I and Chinese.  My family is very traditional family and my father is part of the army in China. So they not very like Japanese . Her father is also a soldier in Japan, they don't like their daughter to married Chinese too.  Even through they met one time, they still forced us too separate.  This year I had summer course in Cambridge , she help me to carry some packages and then she leave with a letter. I found this letter very late, and she wrote that her father don't allow our relationship.  We never contact each other later"

 I visited the Tate museum at the weekend, I found several photos about sorrow . Their heads are facing down and holding their selves.

Cheating is the most normal and common during the relationship. 

Because human's desire.

So this inspired me to explore the Desire.

Lamia, seductive and monstrous 

eKats writes of Lamia in vivid colorful imagery.

She is the beautiful monster in the greek myth. She is the mistress of Zeus and her affair with him angered Hera so much that she transformed Lamia’s children into monstrous beings. She is often describe as a snake monster just like medusa .

I want to use this reference to develop the female character ( red rose). She is a women having a husband, but she love another men. This is literally not right or unethical in our reality. So that the main reason I want not just pretty but also more free and less restricted figure to build up my charming character.

Snake is represent the dark desire in the western.

In the research of lamia, medusa , their simple is snake.

Snake is the representation of the dark desire.

I research basic dressing gown, to learn the basic shape of it. For me, the dressing gown is soft, comfortable/

In this period, western and eastern culture have stared to introduce all over the world.  So at that time, Chinese women have more choose that she can wear western type of dress and clothes, same as the western women.

I research this season because it is a successful combination between Chinese culture and western style.  

Researching online celebrity is to know how popular women dress like in nowadays. I think showing their beautiful body shape is still very important in today.
